Special Projects - Mental Health Initiatives

The Special Projects Committee advances SHRM Tulsa initiatives that support the evolving needs of our membership.

Our work focuses on how HR’s unique vantage point informs mental well-being in the workplace. Because HR professionals see how resources are used, where gaps exist, and where employees may still be struggling, this committee turns those insights into practical initiatives that strengthen supportive, healthy work environments.

We’re kicking off with a June Mental Health Panel + Table Discussion that will gather real‑time insights to guide this topic’s programing for the rest of the year.

We offer flexible involvement, so you can participate in a way that fits your schedule and strengths. Whether you enjoy brainstorming, helping with events, facilitating discussions, or lending your voice and skillsets, there’s a place for your involvement here.

Come help us build initiatives that support HR professionals and enhance well-being across Tulsa workplaces.
